As part of your role in the ED at the BRI you will be asked to sign ECG’s frequently throughout the shift. The purpose is to ensure that acute ischaemic, arrhythmic and other presentations that reveal themselves on ECGs may prompt and appropriate treatment. The process helps ensure safety but will result in interruptions to work load and therefore needs to be carried out with due care and attention.
